Testimonials
on 'Managing Diabetes A Wholefood
Approach'
“Many thanks for your letter and book. I think your
book is excellent and ought to be in the hands of
every patient with type 2 diabetes.” - Dr Allan
Withnell, Gloucester (retired GP).
“The book is written in simple
language that can be understood by the average
person who is unaccustomed to medical jargon. It
takes you through what it means to have
diabetes…Aside from the recipes and analysis of the
disease, the book also includes a diary – an
essential part of any diabetics’ life. This diary
provides a very comprehensive and convenient way of
instilling discipline, a quality that all diabetics
need to succeed in controlling the disease and
ensuring quality of life. The book is small in size,
but packs a bunch – a total necessity for any
diabetic, especially the newly diagnosed. It is
truly a refreshing input in the fight against
diabetes.” - K.C.E. London (Registered Nurse London)
“I learn more about managing
diabetes….Looking at it from a whole-food approach,
this was the turning point for me as I got more
knowledgeable about diabetes and good and their
effects on the human body….. The whole-food approach
and a change of lifestyle would be capable of
reversing the diabetes ….To date I remain totally
free of all medication and my sugar levels remain
normal.” - E.G, Birmingham
“I am so grateful that you have
been willing to share with me your understanding and
findings on diabetes. I didn’t understand what
diabetes was, but having read your book which
explained in lay mans terms why a person has high
blood sugar, I am more informed, which has got to be
a good thing. My blood sugar for the last two years
has been 22, 18, 13 etc and the doctors increased
the medication (Metformin) to 4 x daily. I am happy
to say that my blood sugar reading this morning was
6.3 and I only took one tablet yesterday. I am
pleased it is on its way down and I will continue to
monitor this, increase my levels of activity and
make changes to my diet.” - D.H, London.
“I have received your book and
found it helpful and although I still find it
difficult to be very disciplined in my eating habits
I have made improvements. I am using the almond
butter that you recommended and the soya milk. I
find the soya milk tasty and do not miss cow’s milk
at all and it is tastier than the semi-skimmed milk.
I did try the rice milk and although it is ok I
would prefer to use it in puddings for taste rather
than consistency.”
F.C, London.
